Now, if you are a regular reader, you will remember that I have tried their Deep Conditioner and their Exfoliating Facial Salts too. The big thing with all the products from them is that one of the ingredients is Dead Sea Salt, which I love. This cream also has Aloe and Chamomile in it too. I really liked this cream, but my skin didn't! I liked it because it's a nice, thick cream and it absorbs quickly. There is minimal scent to it, nothing overpowering, which I like. But, I have really weird combination skin. Some places flake like there's no tomorrow and other spots get so oily, it's not even funny.  So, for some reason, my oily spots did not like this cream and I broke out. I don't know about the rest of the country, but I am sick and tired of snow and rain and cold! I know my brother who lives in New York is. He called and complained that they got 5 inches of the white stuff yesterday and how done he is with the mess! We had snow last week with ice and then had a monsoon this weekend with rain for almost 2 days. Needless to say, my yard was a mud hole. And Hubby and Bubby were out in it on the 4 wheelers. Which is nothing new in my house, actually, it's expected. So, when I saw that the forecast for the rest of the week was sunny and WARM, I decided to shampoo my living room carpet that had gone from pink to brown. Yes, I have pink carpeting in my living room. We are going to change it as soon as we get brave enough to tackle that kind of DIY project.  We have been talking about getting one of these for a very long time. Yesterday, he and Bubby went shopping by themselves and came home with this and a bunch of ingredients. The main reason we want one is to make jerky because everyone in this house eats a lot of it! I really like this one. It's easy to use and doesn't make a lot of noise. I did giggle because we had it going last night and I kept thinking I left the fan over the stove on. But we made banana chips! I really like trail mix and this taste way better than the ones in store bought mixes. I will post when we get some jerky done! The kids are hoping we do deer jerky. Friends of the girls have brought deer jerky to school and I hear it's better than beef jerky. With how many racks are in the dehydrator, we can do both at the same time!

I didn't believe this when a friend of mine told me about it a few years ago but I have tried it and it really works. It just sounds really strange. Everyone has VapoRub in their house. If you have kids, you have VapoRub. When you have a bad cough, you take it and slather it on the bottom of your feet. Yep, I said feet. Then you put socks on. Then go to bed. This will stop your cough completely. I don't know how it works, but it does. I had a terrible cough last year and couldn't find any relief at bedtime. Every time I would lie down, I would cough. I gave up and tried this trick since the medicine I was taking wasn't doing anything. Within a few minutes of laying down, I noticed there wasn't any cough. It works on the kiddos too. You would think it wouldn't since you can't really smell the vapors since it's on your feet. But it really does work! Try it next time you have a cold!

OK, so I just bought this with my gift card from Smiley360 last week and decided to put it to the test on one of the yuckiest, stained things I know of. My steam mop pad. This thing gets black! As you can see from this before picture:  It always makes me feel bad when I see how filthy the kitchen floor gets! So, anyways, I washed it in warm water, with my usual detergent and a capful of the OxiClean 2 in 1 stain fighter liquid . And this is what came out: AMAZING! I don't think that bleach could have even gotten it this clean! I know washing it with just my detergent never got it that white. And it smells so good too! This liquid is safe on colors, whites, you name it. It's not like bleach where you can only use it on whites. I highly recommend this for anyone who does laundry! This is a great product.

 I don't know how good you can see it, since my camera didn't pick it up good, but this is my marked up wall. This wall is right as you walk in my front door and used to have my loveseat in front of it. But since I LOVE Christmas and decided to put the tree up early, I wanted to put the tree here. When I moved the loveseat, the marks were really visible and looked terrible. I know I have mentioned the Blue Dawn/Hydrogen Peroxide combo cleaner on here before. I thought it was just good for carpets and clothing. Boy, I was wrong. These marks wouldn't come off even with a Magic Eraser! I decided to try the Dawn/Hydrogen combo and this is what it looks like now- WOW! This is really the magic cleaner. It didn't hurt the paint, and it took minimal scrubbing. If you haven't tried this, you must! I'm not sure what the ratio is supposed to be, but I just squirted a little Dawn in a bowl; maybe a half dollar's worth. I tried this out today after receiving it yesterday in the mail from Smiley360. I have lots of laundry to do. With 3 kids, 1 in college soccer and a little boy,  and a husband, there is usually at least 2 loads every other day. If I don't do laundry at least every other day, I would be taken over with clothes. The clothes came out looking great. All the smells were gone, even on the soccer player's clothes!
