Hormel Gatherings Party Trays!

My mother in law was sick on Thanksgiving, so we had a second dinner on Saturday. As an appetizer on Saturday, I pulled out my Hormel Gatherings Supreme party tray, in addition to the cheese ball that had been attacked on Thanksgiving. This sucker is loaded! It has Hormel Hard and Genoa Salami, Sargento Colby Jack and Pepper Jack cheeses, 2 sleeves of crackers and assorted olives! I was impressed with how fresh everything tasted, straight out of the package. Everything comes sealed in their own packages, inside the big tray, ready to be served. I love how the salami and cheeses are the perfect size for the crackers. I hate when they are bigger than the cracker, making it hard to eat. Everyone was happy snacking on this before the meal, especially Bubby who is a salami freak. There are two different trays in the Gathering...

Planning a Graduation Party...

I believe I posted back when my other daughter graduated, but how to plan a big graduation party bears repeating! This is my middle daughter, Doodle, who is graduating high school in June. She has senioritis already and can't wait to start college. Before her sister graduated, I had never planned a big party. We had had birthday parties at the house, but had never gone with a venue or anything like that. So, all that I have learned, I learned by trial and error. Lots of error. Many, many errors. I think you get the idea. The first thing you need to do is pick your day. With Izzie's we had to have hers after her graduation because she graduated on a Thursday and her party had to be on a Saturday. With Doodle, she's graduating on a Saturday, so we are having the party after the ceremony.
