You know I love trying new skin care. Especially since my skin care needs are changing as I get older. When I received the Ultra Plumping Hydration Mask and the True Glow Eye Cream from Valentia, I was excited.
The mask says on the box that it boosts collagen production, increases skin radiance, reduces fine lines, and secures skin moisture. It is very easy to use. And one thing I love is the fragrance! It smells heavenly! It is so easy to apply, a little goes a long way. It's a gel-like consistency. You leave it on for 15-30 minutes and just wipe off with a warm washcloth. It rinses off easily. And your skin does feel wonderful! Very refreshed and soft! It said that a tingling sensation is normal, but I didn't feel that. I love that the key ingredients are natural too. It has Silk protein amino acid blend, botanical hyaluronic acid, organic sea buckthorn oil, Japanese green tea, aloe vera, and organic rosehip seed oil. This mask is amazing!
I was also impressed with the True Glow Eye Cream. A little goes a long way with this product too! I noticed my fine lines were diminished after the first few uses! And it really helped with my dark circles. This also has natural ingredients! The key ingredients are Astanxanthin, which is an antioxidant, Resistem, vitamin C, organic Rosehip oil, and Amica.

DIY Body Wrap

OK, this started as another one of those "Pinterest Experiments" to see if it would really work, and it actually did! I had read on Pinterest that you can do a body wrap at home wayyyy cheaper than at spas. All you need is lotion, plastic wrap and whatever body part you want to lose about .5 in on. Seriously. I did it on my stomach, because after 3 children, I have the "pooch". I hate the "pooch". I figured that this wouldn't hurt, so while Hubby was in Washington, I tried it. All you do is put lotion on the body part you are working on. It's preferable to have a lotion with something from the sea in it, like seaweed, kelp, etc, but not absolutely necessary. Put A LOT on. I mean to where it's not soaking in anymore. Then you wrap the body part in plastic wrap. You can either secure it with an ace bandage or do what I did and just tape it.
