You see this little white thing? It is a wonder! This little thing will protect you from 99.9% of the bacteria that can get to your toothbrush! This is an IntelliDent toothbrush shield. You simply slide this over your toothbrush and it acts as a surgical mask for your toothbrush! We have been using it on our toothbrushes at home, but you can also use it when you are travelling instead of those plastic holders which breed bacteria. Did you know that the CDC discourages using those plastic containers? I didn't. I had never thought about the fact that when you place a wet toothbrush in a dark environment like that, it can breed bacteria. I also never thought of the number of germs that you are exposed to when your toothbrush is just sitting in the holder in the bathroom. These are made of non-woven fabric that wicks moisture away from your toothbrush and also blocks any germs from coming onto your toothbrush. You use them for up to 7 days and then replace.
