I love cookbooks. I love looking through them and I really love it when I find ones with recipes I'll actually make! I was thrilled to be approached to review Taste of Home 365 Days of Cookies and Taste of Home's Most Requested Recipes. These are seriously fabulous!

Let's start with the Most Requested Recipes. They have over 400 recipes and tips in there. I can't wait to make some of these. There are casseroles, main dishes, breakfasts, desserts, even slow cooker recipes! There are even 30 minute or less meals in here. There's seriously something for everyone in here! I also love that they made these spiral bound books so they lie flat on the counter. I hate having to put something on top of the book to keep it open while I'm cooking.

The 365 Days of Cookies is just that; 365 cookie recipes that will suit any occasion. There are recipes for special days like Jelly Bean Day and National Potato Chip day and a bonus Christmas section! Both cookbooks have easy to follow instructions and full color photos.

You can find these at most retailers like Amazon and Barnes and Noble or straight from the Reader's Digest store. These would make great Christmas presents for the cook in your life!

OK, this started as another one of those "Pinterest Experiments" to see if it would really work, and it actually did! I had read on Pinterest that you can do a body wrap at home wayyyy cheaper than at spas. All you need is lotion, plastic wrap and whatever body part you want to lose about .5 in on. Seriously. I did it on my stomach, because after 3 children, I have the "pooch". I hate the "pooch". I figured that this wouldn't hurt, so while Hubby was in Washington, I tried it. All you do is put lotion on the body part you are working on. It's preferable to have a lotion with something from the sea in it, like seaweed, kelp, etc, but not absolutely necessary. Put A LOT on.
