Honey!

I love honey. I love it in my tea, drizzled on biscuits, even an occasional peanut butter and honey sandwich. (Yep. Try it-it's phenomenal) But, did you know that there is a difference in honey and all honey isn't the same? I had no idea!
The typical honey that you find on grocery store shelves has been filtered to remove all the pollen. This is not what you want! This removes all of the good stuff from the honey, including vitamins, minerals and antioxidants! At Rice's Honey, they take the honey straight from the hive to the bottle. Nothing is filtered, altered or added. It is straight honey, the way God intended. And it's sooo good! I received the Wildflower and Local Southeast honey and I was surprised that there is a taste difference. I found the Local Southeast to be a bit sweeter than the Wildflower. Both are delicious though! As you can see in the picture, I have used the Wildflower a little more. I've been using it in my tea!
There are so many health benefits to honey. It's a natural cough syrup, natural antibiotic properties, antioxidants, natural wound and ulcer healer, natural allergy relief, the list goes on! I didn't believe the natural cough syrup until one time I had bronchitis and couldn't stop coughing. I had tried everything until I read about eating a teaspoon of honey. It coats your throat and stops coughing! I was shocked and quite happy!
Rice's works with local bee keepers around the country and have regional honeys along with Amber, Wildflower and Clover honey. You can check out all their products on their website. They are also available in retailers around the country like Walmart, Whole Foods and Albertson's.
Check them out on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram!
