Loving Kroger!

Right now, Kroger is having a mega event where it's buy 6 save 3$. Now that may not sound like much, but when you add in the digital coupons and any other coupons you have, it adds up! Today I saved 28%! And came home with a LOT! I was very excited because I was walking through and noticed that they had a couple carts of markdowns in the center aisle. I found one of the humongous bags of cat litter for 1.19! That's going to last me at least a month or more! And when I went to get dog food, I pulled the bag down and the Alpo food is on sale for 7.99 for the 15lb bag. When I pulled it down, someone had left a coupon for 1.75 off! Yes, little things like this make me happy. I'm a cheap date!

    I love Krogers to. I always give them my Kroger's card at the end because I like to see how much I saved. I love to see the numbers go down. My husband laughs at me, because I won't let him give his card to the end either when we go together. I know he likes to see the numbers go down to he just won't admit it.

      Isn't that the best feeling? My husband laughs because of how excited I get to look at the bottom of the receipt to see how much I saved!

DIY Body Wrap

OK, this started as another one of those "Pinterest Experiments" to see if it would really work, and it actually did! I had read on Pinterest that you can do a body wrap at home wayyyy cheaper than at spas. All you need is lotion, plastic wrap and whatever body part you want to lose about .5 in on. Seriously. I did it on my stomach, because after 3 children, I have the "pooch". I hate the "pooch". I figured that this wouldn't hurt, so while Hubby was in Washington, I tried it. All you do is put lotion on the body part you are working on. It's preferable to have a lotion with something from the sea in it, like seaweed, kelp, etc, but not absolutely necessary. Put A LOT on. I mean to where it's not soaking in anymore. Then you wrap the body part in plastic wrap. You can either secure it with an ace bandage or do what I did and just tape it.
