Vacation Idea!

**This is a review of my own. I have no affiliation with Dollywood and my family just loves going there. All opinions are my own**

For the second time, my family and I are going to Dollywood for our family vacation. Why, you ask? Because it is fabulous! This is by far the best amusement park we have been to. The lines aren't that long to wait in, the park is squeaky clean, the rides are all fun, the list goes on! Even the ticket prices aren't that bad! For a 3 day pass to Dollywood is under 100$ per person. And if you like water parks, it's just 10$ more for a 3 day pass to both Dollywood and Splash Country. We aren't big on water parks so we are just going to Dollywood. In addition to the rides, there are shows to see. I loved the show we saw the last time we were there about different birds. It was really neat to learn about them and see them too! Throughout the year they have different performers and singers in different parts of the park. It is a very family friendly atmosphere and we enjoyed every minute that we were there, which is why we are going back! We stay at a hotel off site, but there are cabins and a resort that is affiliated with Dollywood that you can get package deals too. And Pigeon Forge is a gorgeous town to visit too. You are surrounded by mountains that are just beautiful. If you haven't been to Dollywood, you should definitely look into it for your next vacation. We highly recommend it!

DIY Body Wrap

OK, this started as another one of those "Pinterest Experiments" to see if it would really work, and it actually did! I had read on Pinterest that you can do a body wrap at home wayyyy cheaper than at spas. All you need is lotion, plastic wrap and whatever body part you want to lose about .5 in on. Seriously. I did it on my stomach, because after 3 children, I have the "pooch". I hate the "pooch". I figured that this wouldn't hurt, so while Hubby was in Washington, I tried it. All you do is put lotion on the body part you are working on. It's preferable to have a lotion with something from the sea in it, like seaweed, kelp, etc, but not absolutely necessary. Put A LOT on. I mean to where it's not soaking in anymore. Then you wrap the body part in plastic wrap. You can either secure it with an ace bandage or do what I did and just tape it. On My Journey: Cataracts

Along with my entire family, I wear glasses.  I have for about 3 years now.  I had noticed about two months ago that my left eye was really bad.  I couldn't see anything out of it, just blurry blobs.  So,  I carried myself to the eye doctors, expecting to get a new prescription.  He dilated my eyes because my left eye failed all the tests.  Imagine my surprise when he tells me that at the age of 42, I have cataracts.  I couldn't believe it! He said this is extremely rare, but does happen.  I ended up leaving there with a referral to an eye surgeon instead of a prescription.  Now I'm waiting to go see the eye surgeon.  I'm a little nervous even though I know it's an easy,  routine surgery.  I will keep all you wonderful readers updated as this progresses!
