Greenies Treats! (PS I'm baaack!)

As you know, I have 2 adult dogs, Kojack and Bolt. Kojack is a black lab mix and Bolt is a bassett hound mix. I love them to pieces, but their breath stinks. I mean bad. I know that there are tooth brushes out there for dogs and even meat flavored toothpaste, but really, I'm not going to go through holding them down and forcing them to brush their teeth. I did that with three kids and I'm not about to start again! Thank goodness Chewy.com has Greenies! These fabulous treats come in three different flavors for the puppies, blueberry, fresh and original. My two have tried the Fresh and Blueberry so far and love them. Bolt does his little hoppy happy dance when he sees me pull the bag out. And their breath doesn't smell like something died in their mouths anymore! I sent the original flavor home with my granddog, Bentley, and he gave his approval too! These fight plaque and tartar buildup too. I love that they are shaped like little toothbrushes. I think that's adorable. You can get these delivered to you from Chewy.com and the box comes with all three flavors, 12 per pack. for the 25-50 lb dog. Yes, Kojack is over 50 lbs, but that's ok. DIY Body Wrap

OK, this started as another one of those "Pinterest Experiments" to see if it would really work, and it actually did! I had read on Pinterest that you can do a body wrap at home wayyyy cheaper than at spas. All you need is lotion, plastic wrap and whatever body part you want to lose about .5 in on. Seriously. I did it on my stomach, because after 3 children, I have the "pooch". I hate the "pooch". I figured that this wouldn't hurt, so while Hubby was in Washington, I tried it. All you do is put lotion on the body part you are working on. It's preferable to have a lotion with something from the sea in it, like seaweed, kelp, etc, but not absolutely necessary. Put A LOT on. I mean to where it's not soaking in anymore. Then you wrap the body part in plastic wrap. You can either secure it with an ace bandage or do what I did and just tape it. On My Journey: Cataracts

Along with my entire family, I wear glasses.  I have for about 3 years now.  I had noticed about two months ago that my left eye was really bad.  I couldn't see anything out of it, just blurry blobs.  So,  I carried myself to the eye doctors, expecting to get a new prescription.  He dilated my eyes because my left eye failed all the tests.  Imagine my surprise when he tells me that at the age of 42, I have cataracts.  I couldn't believe it! He said this is extremely rare, but does happen.  I ended up leaving there with a referral to an eye surgeon instead of a prescription.  Now I'm waiting to go see the eye surgeon.  I'm a little nervous even though I know it's an easy,  routine surgery.  I will keep all you wonderful readers updated as this progresses!
